Uhm, a friend of mine told me the illo of the running elephant I made would look a lot better if I put a running african man in front of it with a bucket of paint.
So I made this to please him.

Illustration Friday - Play

Hello. I'm back from Trondheim and it was great. (: I love that city. And it was so nice seeing all my old friends again. Well, enough about life.
IF this week is Play, - as I've been away and busybusy I chose to make a new version of an old poster I once did in school. About tango. That's playing fo'sho. Tching tching.

And woho! I'VE HAD MORE THAN 10 000 VISITORS! WEee me. Not in this blog only, tho. :P It share numbers with the outside blog.

Caricature, again.

Yes yes, had to try it again. And my oh my, I will try it again and again. I need sooo much practise, and it's so much FUN! :D Anyway. I made this one of Neo. Used the picture to the right.
Slightly different aproach than the others. Pencil, scanned and Photoshopping.






Oh, there wont be any updates here in a week or so, I'm going on VACATION. :D Just up north, to Trondheim. Yay. Free. No work. Omgyes, I can dig it. Take care, so long, hasta lavista, baby.

Girl with flower in her hair

I saw a girl one day. And she was really skinny, but her hair was very thick. And she had a flower in it. And so I skethced her in my journal. And then I colored her in Photoshop. And that's the end of that story.

Illustration Friday - Capture

Topic for this week at illustration friday is "capture". Earlier this week my pal heri postet an assignment on the drawingboard, he'd made this drawing earlier on, and wanted us to make our own version of it leaving the drawing with no color and no rat in it. I thought the idea was great and so I sat down to make a finnished version muffinized yesterday.
This is what came out: (click it for a clearer view).

After I finnished it, I took a look at IF and discovered that the new topic fit just perfect with the drawing, and heri agreed on posting it here. So, the cute pig tailed girl is made by him, and the idea, coloring and people are made by me. (:

Muffin is going caircature

Hello - world of caricatures. I've decided to join.
I made an attempt on my wacom the other day - which turned out terrible.
So on my next go I went the old pencil way and sat down with REAL paper. (:
I made these two of two guys at the drawingboard. And with some real good help from heri on shading and stuff in photoshop, they turned a lot better. (: Thank you, good sir heri.

I made a birthday card for my good friend Bjarke today, he turned 20.
He's alwaysalways treated me like a princess, no exeptions. I dig you, Bjarke. :)
