Being sick can be kinda nice

1. I get to be at home
2. I get to watch it snow from inside
3. I get to go outside and sniff the snowy air. The smell of winter is just great. :)
4. I get to walk around in comfy clothes all day. Baggy pants and sweat-shirts.
5. I get to try and eat a little of everything, but then not manage to eat after all and leave bits of food everywhere. :P
6. I get to see the dusk come and turn the sky orange and purple and then dark.
7. I get to light candles all over the living room, creating the feeling of Christmas getting closer
8. I get to watch Ugly Betty and Heroes
9. I get to eat clementines!
10. I get to have the feeling of not having anywhere to go for the night. Just staying home. :)

Snowlings

How nice it is with snow!

Cold, windy, snowy, wet and yet a bit dry. I love it and I brrr it.
This morning, we finally managed to get hold of a car with winter tyres (thanks, bro-in-law), and started on our 50 minutes drive to the office, already a good 30 minutes late ... But after driving about 35 minutes on the same distance I would spend 5 minutes on on a normal day, we decided to acknowledge the defeat of the weather and turn around. The radio told us there were tens and tens of cars driving off the road, sliding into eachother and even the ambulances and helpers are stuck in queue.
Seems we made a wise and grown up decision. (; Home office is a good sulotion to have.

There's something charmy and cosy about the weather showing powers. When you just have to stay home tucked in a wollen blanket, sipping cocoa and watching movies. Cause you simply cant step outside. I really appreciate the weather conditions we have here, that we are lucky enough to experience such a wide range of weather types. Makes you appreciate a good, warm, sunny summer day more.

A new little Prince!

My sister was blessed with a perfect little healthy baby boy on Sunday. :) There's a saying Sunday children are calmer and nicer than usual, is it so?

Well, his name is Daniel and he's just about gorgeous. He's my 4th nephew, and makes me an aunt to 8 little darlings. :)

I can't express how much I love having a big family! :) I consider myself blessed.

Back from Molde

I went to Molde on thursday, to partisipate on an exhibition-thing (don't know what it's called in english) for work, and the drive there took about 8 hours. No biggie when I live in such a beautiful country. :)

I just love mountains!

Star*Belly Family

Remember this one?

Well, someone made a comment about making more of these - and today I found myself infront of the wacom, unable to figure out something to draw. I went through my drawings folder and found the old starbelly.jpg and I figured I'd give The Family a try. :)

Here are two cousins.
More will come! (:

A Baby Boy

My dear sister is expecting a baby boy. She's due by the end of October, and I'm thrilled to get another nephew added to the crowd. :D I've got 4 nieses and 3 nephews so far, he'll be number 8 making it even with the sexes. And they are just getting better and better. :)

We had a baby shower for my sister last night. I've never attended to one before as it is a new thing in Norway. A stolen event from America. Well, it was nice. :)
